Overview
Frontier draws relatively few complaints, and the ones that come its way tend to get fixed fast. One major drawback: There doesn’t appear to be an obvious place on its Web site that accepts emails from customers, meaning that your only real choice is a phone call or a letter. That can sometimes be problematic.
If you have a customer complaint, please read this before contacting the company.

Frontier Airlines, Inc.

Denver, CO 80249-7312
Commander : Capt. Brian Gallagher
Denver Airport Police
Federal Bureau of Investigation – Denver
SAC : James H. Davis
Ref: – Flight # 234 incident Frontier File # 361724
Airline record locator: Midwest Airlines – MQMBRP
Ticket numbers: 4537203825248
As a frequent flier on other airlines this was my first time ever flying with Frontier Airlines December 19, 2009 on flight number #234. I was astounded by the treatment, verbal abuse, physical assault and harassment, threats that I was subjected to and received on my first experience flying with Frontier airlines.
I’m a responsible 25 yr old mother seated in row 11C and went to the restroom during the flight as your staff were serving beverages and needed to use the bathroom. On my return back the flight attendant had the cart a couple of rows towards the back as I was trying to get back to my seat.
I was told abruptly by the flight attendant to stand in the back of the plane until they were done serving the rest of the plane before I could return to my seat. I was surprised since I had prior to me going to the restroom seen them move the cart for other passengers to get seated again and return to his seat (11E) I explained this to the older male flight attendant and asked him to permit me the same gratitude and space to return to my seat as he had given the other passengers as I felt it was not safe for me to be standing for 10 minutes or so during turbulence till their were done serving the rest of the passengers.
They finally reluctantly moved and ignored me after I thanked them.
Later during the flight I asked to receive an alcoholic beverage from a female attendant as did the gentleman next to me. The female flight attendant came back but was accompanied by the first older male attendant who refused me back to my seat and told me to stand at the back of the plane.
After serving the other passengers and receiving payment for their alcoholic beverage, the female attendant then informed me and said that I had been banned from anymore alcohol on this plane for my behavior. (I had only had one beverage on the plane)
At this point the older male flight attendant that had refused me passage to return back to my seat interjects to say that I was disruptive. At this point I then asked for the two male flight attendants names and employee’s number’s which they refused to give me and walked away from me.
I then proceeded to press the flight attendant call button to speak to somebody regarding the flight attendants threats, assaults, and behavior. The flight attendants ignored me after I pressed the call button to receive attention. Finally a very hostile flight attendant, the same older gentlemen from all previous incidents came barreling down the isle with a laminated bright red notice card explaining laws about alcohol and serving.
He flashed the card in front of me and I asked if I may make a copy of it for my personal review with my camera at which time he yanked it from me and threatened me that he had given notice to the captain. He stated that the police and FBI will be waiting for me when I deplaned.
I was traumatized by his assault and threats and documented this e-mail whilst flying when the same flight attendant returned harassing me once again demanding that I get of my cell phone when I explained I had a blackberry storm and was currently writing this e-mail only.
Again during the flight he continued to walk down the isle and deliberately bumped me each time with his elbow to my head, never apologized and continued walking and stated his excuse that it was the turbulence that made him bump me.
If there was air turbulence as he claimed why would Frontier airlines violate their own safety rules for its passengers requesting and requiring that we stand for 10 minutes in the back in the plane unseated without a seatbelt and why would you have a cart in the isle which could and would potentially harm a passenger if there was air turbulence reported.
The flight attendant removed his name badge and removed his jacket when I asked for his name and had no ID displayed while all other attendants wore their photo employee cards on lanyard around their necks at all times.
This flight attendant continued to threaten me harass me and assault me during the flight no less than 5 occasions? FAA regulations and airline regulations require passengers is to remain seated at all times, yet I was ordered to Stand in the back of the plane for an estimated time of ten minutes.
I have two witnesses/passengers to the incident, both seated next to me that will testify to my statement and claims.
When we landed there was no FBI or police at the door to meet me which I was threatened and subjected to in front of other passengers and humiliated by your flight attendant. I immediately called customer relations and asked for the corporate offices executive offices and the CEO’s secretary which I got through to and left a voice message for her to please return my call. I left her two numbers to contact me back including the file # 361724 and she failed to return my call.
In fact I still have not had any correspondence communication from frontier airlines to date and would request the following.
1.) I would like to know the male flight attendants badge and name which you all refuse to provide produce in order to file a police report and follow up for the assault bumping my head several times during the flight.
2.) I would like his name and information to file a request with the FBI as to his statement that he contacted the FBI and threatened to have me met at the airport when we landed.
3.) Frontier airlines have refused to provide this information and details of this flight attendants name protecting this employee against all laws.
4.) I would like to receive information and a copy of the report that this flight attendant had notified the Captain as he claimed and threatened.
It seems that Frontier Airlines Corporate Executive office are covering this incident up by failing to respond and refusing to provide me the flight attendants name in order for me to file with all the appropriate authorities to further investigate this incident.
Amazingly after countless and repeated phone calls and letters Frontier Corporate or Frontier custome Service have yet to respond return a call or address this. Not a single word
If the CEO doesn’t care, then nobody further down the chain will care. Speak to a lawyer and also file a police report if you seriously feel like you were assaulted. If it’s just your pride that was hurt and you don’t feel like like using the law, then just let it go. Some people are jerks. Tomorrow you will have forgotten about this, but he will still be a jerk.
Heather, I can tell you as someone related to a Frontier employee that Ben is correct. Inside Frontier nobody cares. People don’t give any notice and simply don’t show up again. The turnover rate is staggering. They get treated like dirt. The HR policies shoved onto Frontier by Republic are some of the worst I have ever heard. Its compounded by the bad economy making them feel trapped like animals, which is how Republic treats them.
Ben is also right about what you should do. File a report with police, get a lawyer, and then go to the media and get it on air. Thats the only way to get their attention.
