PayPal transactions are often synonymous with scams. How scammy? Well, we almost got scammed by them. Recent PayPal issues include problems with its warranty, wrong items delivered and refusing to refund unauthorized payments. In a recent case a customer’s refund was lost during a PayPal to Chase transfer. The customer and our team worked hard, and PayPal promptly refunded the charge. In this case, PayPal Protection plan didn’t protect its customer. PayPal won’t return this customer’s money after she returned a product back to the store.

PayPal customer service response times

PayPal’s customer service response times can vary depending on the method of contact, most users complain that PayPal’s customer service is sometimes slow and not helpful. However, here’s a general idea of what to expect:

Phone supportResponse time: You can expect an initial response within a few minutes to an hour during business hours.
Phone number: Customer’s can contact PayPal at (888) 221-1161.
Availability: Phone support is available 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday.  
Email supportResponse time: Email inquiries typically take 1 to 14 business days to receive a response, although it can sometimes be longer.
Email address: Customers can contact PayPal by login in and requesting on live chat to speak to PayPal through email.
Live chatResponse time: PayPal’s live chat support is operated by a chatbot, although you can request to speak to a live agent during business hours. You can expect an initial response within a few minutes to an hour during business hours.
Availability: Live chat is available 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday.  
Social mediaResponse time: PayPal is active on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and X. Response times can range from a few hours to a day depending on the platform and the inquiry’s complexity.

Paypal cancelled/limited all action to my account, stating that there was strange behavior on my account. I never attempted to use it yet, I had it sitting for a few months. No one is explaining to me why my account was really considered 'Closed'. I want to give less than a star!

First of all, I was very skeptical that anything is possible beyond permanent limited PP acc. This page gave me a hope, other reviews not so. Anyways... Be kind, be polite, stand your ground, company maybe sucks as all corporate forts but people are people. Some bad some good willing to help. I wrote to those listed here and explained shortly my reasons. Poof account restoration process started and I am back. I suggest to all, to try firstly, at least for a week. Be persistent and mention signed agreements, obligations, lawyers, customer's loyalty etc Give inputs on your own acc like the entire platform is yours too. Magic do happen.

RYOKO RIPPED ME OFF AND PAYPAL ALLOWED IT AND PROTECTED THEM . NOW PAYPAL HAS ATTACKED AND COMPROMISED MY CHECKING ACCOUNTS while they claimed they were making credits and making things right. YOU CAN NO LONGER TRUST PAYPAL
