We were excited to see Chipotle at 7518 E US Highway 36 Avon, IN 46123 would be opening. On a Saturday around 9:25pm we arrived to find 2 other customers at the register and 2 female employees behind the counter with their backs to the entry. They left for the back with no acknowledgement of our presence. After noticing the warming trays were empty we left. You need a manager there or one that cares and employees that want to work. Too bad that’s a new store we won’t buy from. Looks like most of your recent reviews think the same!
I was at the Chipotle restaurant in Sacramento CA at 1729 Howe ave on January 16th 2029 at 10:59 am. I asked for a burrito. The person behind the counter making the burrito was very rude and did not care that she was including lots of liquid from the beans and the meat into the burrito. I made a face when I saw the liquid dripping out of the burrito, and she very rudely ask me if I wanted it or not. I said yes. It was very difficult to eat because the tortilla was so soggy. It was very obvious that the person working there was very unhappy and she was taking it out on the customers. I will never go back to that Chipotle. I have noticed that most chipotle restaurants are not as busy as they used to be. Customer service may be one of the reasons why.
I had a similar experience to Frank Harris's at the Chipotle on Blue Ridge in Kansas City. A woman took over serving my 3-bowl order and proceeded to short me on both meat and veggies on a Barbacoa bowl (the other two were chicken and pork) then charged me for 3 Barbacoa bowls. When I brought this up one of the workers tried to refund me but the worker who shorted me on the Barbacoa came up and said "you are holding up the line and it's your fault it won't refund because you swiped too many times, you need to leave and take it up with your card company." I swiped twice, the other worker swiped a few more times trying to get the refund processed. Turns out the woman who shorted me and demeaned and blamed me for the stores inability to correct their mistake is the general manager of the store. This is how she is training her workers to behave towards her customers. This was right before Christmas and left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended) for days, till I finally went to Costco. The difference in customer service was astounding. They restored my faith in humanity. I and my family will never patronize another Chipotle, and you better believe I will tell anyone who will listen about my experience, and I speak to people all over the metro for work.
Chipotle has gone to crap concerning Customer Service. They list a # to call, our kids & grandkids all love Chipotle in Lenexa, and in Leawood KS. Fast, good service! So, I was going to buy 7 gift cards for Christmas Presents. The website, says buy $50 card, get $10 Bonus card. But the damn website won't let you print it out -- it will send it, but you can't buy it and print it? Most likely, to avoid Fraud -- but that make it hard for honest customers! 7 different people = $350 loss. Fix the website so we can talk to humans. Don't waste time calling, You get a recording, and no matter what you say, the damn machine will take your order BUT DO NOTHING ELSE! WORTHLESS CRAP! I MAY JUST BUY THE CARDS, SCREW THE BONUS, OR JUST GO TO ANOTHER FAVORITE RESTAURANT. The website is this worthless to buy gift cards! It is a Pain In The Ass! (PITA). Especially when you can get service to help,
I now understand why your stock and value is falling. I stopped at Chipotle located at I35 and Aquarena Springs Rd, San Marcos TX. It was 12:05 on a Thursday, I requested crispy tacos to go and was informed they had not made any. After a few seconds I decided to go somewhere else. Upon leaving a female employee at the register said “auh, no crispy tacos.” I continued to go outside when I decided that it was unnecessary and inappropriate. I returned and requested to speak with the manager. I was surprised to learn that the person making the snide comment was the manager. I asked who her manager was, to which she replied, “I am the general manager, I answer to no one but myself.” Not only so you have a manager NOT ensuring that food is ready and available during the lunch period, but she likes to mock them when they leave. Rest assured I will never stop at another Chipotle again, and I will inform my friends, family, neighbors and church members of my experience.
