You can cancel your reservation with Carnival Cruise Line, but the rules vary based on your booking, your location and the sailing date. Here's what you need to know:

1. Before final payment: If you cancel before making your final payment, there's usually no penalty unless you've booked a specific promotion with a non-refundable deposit or fare.
2. After final payment: Once you've made your final payment, there may be cancellation penalties, which will increase as the departure date gets closer.

Here are some specific cancellation policies for different promotions:

• Early Saver: The deposit is nonrefundable once you've made the booking. If you cancel before the final payment due date, you'll get a future cruise credit for the deposit amount minus a $50 per person service fee.
• Super Saver: The deposit is nonrefundable once you've made the booking.
• Pack and Go: The entire fare is nonrefundable once you've made the booking.

If you booked directly with Carnival, you can check if your booking has cancellation penalties by logging into your carnival.com profile. If you booked through a travel agent, you'll need to contact your agent directly.
