Sling TV is a subscription streaming television service operated by Sling TV LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dish Network, which is itself a subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation following the companies’ 2023 merger. It was officially launched on February 9, 2015, following an invitation-only beta earlier that year. It offers several live-TV subscription packages, including Sling Orange, Sling Blue, Sling Select, Sling Essentials, bundled plan options, and flexible day-pass and prepaid viewing options. It also offers Sling Freestream, a standalone free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service, as well as Latino programming packages and international channel options. Sling TV is based in Meridian, Colorado.
