Ryanair customer service policies

Privacy policy

Ryanair’s privacy policy describes the personal data the airline collects from passengers, including identification details, payment information, travel preferences, and device data. It explains how Ryanair uses this data to process bookings, deliver flights, comply with aviation security laws, and send marketing communications where consent is given. In cases of cancellation, passengers may choose between a full refund to the original payment method, a free rebooking, or travel credit. Passengers may also be entitled to compensation under EU Regulation 261/2004 for delays over 3 hours or cancellations within 14 days of departure. Government taxes are refundable on unused tickets, subject to a handling fee.

Terms and conditions

Ryanair’s general conditions of carriage cover the contractual relationship between the airline and passengers. The terms address ticket validity, check-in deadlines (typically 2 hours before departure), baggage allowances, denied boarding, behavior on board, and Ryanair’s liability limits. The document also explains rules for name changes, flight changes, and the airline’s right to refuse carriage. Disputes are governed by Irish law and may be referred to the Irish Aviation Authority’s Commission for Aviation Regulation.

Just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the absolutely brilliant Flight Attendant Team on FR 4928 today (26th May 2026) 5:50am from PFO to Manchester.

My friend Jo felt, and then was, really poorly. The team swept into action, got her a seat at the back of the airplane and checked on her throughout. They also came to her aid when a gentleman with a rather challenging disability kept trying to talk to her when she just needed some peace.

They were warm, welcoming, smiley and courteous, patient and supportive- not only with us but with the entire craft of passengers. Particularly in the way they also supported the aforementioned gentleman.

What a fantastic team - they really made the flight. Especially the very tall male flight attendant who supported our friend with genuine concern and immediate care. I am sorry that we didn't log his name.

Well done Ryan Air team! We hope to fly again with you soon!!

Rachel, Jo and Eileen
