Why did I receive a voucher instead of a cash refund after canceling my Greyhound ticket?
Greyhound’s cancellation policy issues refunds as vouchers, not cash, regardless of the original payment method. Vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be applied to future Greyhound or FlixBus travel anywhere in their network. Booking fees and service fees are non-refundable. To cancel, use the “Manage My Booking” feature on greyhound.com or the app up to 15 minutes before departure. If you believe a cash refund is warranted due to extraordinary circumstances, contact Greyhound customer service at (800) 231-2222.
My Greyhound bus was late. Am I eligible for a refund?
If your bus departed more than 120 minutes late from your original departure point, you may be eligible to rebook on an alternate trip for free or request a voucher through the “Manage My Booking” feature. Delays that occur while a bus is already en route — due to traffic, weather, or road conditions — are generally not eligible for refunds as long as you reached your destination. To request a refund for a qualifying delay, use the trip delay refund form at help.greyhound.com.
