My airline canceled or significantly changed my flight that I booked through AirTkt. Can I get a refund?
Yes — if the airline cancels or makes a significant schedule change, you are entitled to a full refund to your original form of payment regardless of AirTkt’s own non-refundable fare policy, under U.S. DOT rules (for flights to/from/within the U.S.). Contact AirTkt immediately at (800) 247-4775 or support@airtkt.com and reference the airline’s cancellation; do not simply accept a voucher without asking explicitly about a cash refund. If AirTkt is slow to process it, you may also dispute the charge with your credit card issuer and file a complaint with the DOT at airconsumer.dot.gov.
I booked through CheapFareGuru (or Eros Tours or LatinoFare) — is that the same company as AirTkt?
Yes. AirTkt operates several booking sites under the same Los Angeles-based company, including Eros Tours, LatinoFare, and CheapFareGuru. Your confirmation email and any charge on your card may show a different brand name than the one you think you booked with, but the same team handles service for all of them.
Are the fares shown on AirTkt all-inclusive, or will I see extra fees at checkout?
AirTkt states that fares displayed on its website are inclusive of all U.S. government taxes and standard fees. However, the site warns that advertised prices are based on historical data and are subject to change, and that optional charges — such as seat selection fees, baggage fees charged directly by the airline, and travel insurance — are not included. Read the full fare breakdown before you submit payment and decline the insurance add-on if you don’t want it.
How do I add my TSA PreCheck KTN, frequent-flier number, or passport details after booking on AirTkt?
AirTkt does not always provide an online self-service field for these after booking. Call AirTkt at (800) 247-4775 to add your Known Traveler Number (KTN) or frequent-flier number to your reservation, and then separately contact the airline directly to confirm it appears on your ticket — AirTkt cannot guarantee the airline will apply it. For international travel, make sure your passport information is in the airline’s system at least 72 hours before departure.

I bought travel insurance through AirTkt (via Travelex) at checkout. How do I file a claim?
Travel insurance sold through AirTkt’s checkout is underwritten by Travelex Insurance Services — it is a separate policy and separate company from AirTkt itself. To file a claim, go to travelexinsurance.com or call Travelex directly using the number on your policy documents. AirTkt cannot process insurance claims on Travelex’s behalf. Keep your trip-cost receipts and any documentation of cancellation or delay, as Travelex will require them.

According to BBB files, our records show that the company has a pattern of complaints from customers purchasing airline tickets online, receiving a confirmation of purchase, and having their credit cards charged. However subsequently after purchasing their airfare, their tickets are cancelled. In addition, there are reports that customers have difficulty getting a response or reaching representatives when inquiries or issues arise. On October 5, 2016 the BBB contacted the company in regards to our concerns about the amount and the pattern of complaints we have received. Unfortunately, the BBB did not receive a response.

To cancel your reservation with AirTkt, follow these steps:
