North American Van Lines was established in 1933 by a group of 12 agents. By 1938 the network expanded to 120 agents, and with time, it grew into one of the largest trucking companies in North America.  Throughout the years the company has had several different parent companies, but today North American Moving Company is owned by. SIRVA, Inc., based in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
