Avis Budget handles most customer service questions quickly and fairly. However, we have received several cases where it simply dropped the ball. If you prepaid and need to cancel your car rental reservation before the scheduled pickup time, you can request a refund online. Avis will process your refund within approximately 7 business days. The refund will be credited to the same card that was used for the prepayment.
