Spirit Airlines allows passengers to cancel their flights for free within 24 hours of booking provided that the flight is scheduled for 7 or more days in the future.  If the cancellation is made after 24 hours, fees will apply based on the time remaining until the flight departure.

If Spirit Airlines cancels a flight it will typically rebook you on the next available flight or offer a refund or credit for future travel.
