Shane Confectionery

Shane Confectionery is America's oldest continuously operated confectionery, established in 1863 at 110 Market Street in Old City, Philadelphia. The Shane family took over the business in 1911 and operated it for nearly a century, giving the shop its enduring name. In 2010, brothers Ryan and Eric Berley — who also own the neighboring Franklin Fountain — purchased the shop and reopened it in 2011 after a careful Victorian-era restoration.
