This is very important Feedback directly to ExxonMobil on Alight Corp. Direct feedback to Alight is virtually impossible to give and is completely ignored. In short- FIRE these people! They are absolutely incompetent. I believe they screen E/M off all their mistakes and E/M is being scammed. Read this entire note and you will get a tiny glimpse of the real Alight Corp!
It took me 3+ hours to get to a person that could answer a simple two-minute question. Alight's AI is so stupid and convoluted that I spent 3 hours being sent to the wrong place and re-entering the same personal information 11 times with no results. The AI simply ignores your requests and answers to questions. You can ask for a “customer service representative” 100 times and it will not put you through to a rep. After 3 hours, when I finally got to a real person it was the wrong department and, that wrong department could not transfer me to the right department so I had to start all over again.
Alight's AI is the worst I have ever used! The worst! It is not designed to help anyone, it is designed to frustrate and to get rid of you! Alight will brag about how they have cut down on calls or how they have handled millions of calls when in reality the vast majority of people have just given up. Alight's real objective is to have you give up!! If you live long enough to get a person and they need some piece of trivia to get a problem resolved, they will hang up and tell you they will call you back but they may or may not call back! If you miss the call-back you cannot call them back and you have to do the whole AI thing over again and again.
These people ought to be fired and charged with fraud because they call themselves customer service but they just stonewall thousands of customers every day. It’s impossible to be more inept and incompetent than Alight is. I am trying to contact ExxonMobil directly with this feedback because Alight blocks everything. I have tried to send this feedback to Alight but they completely ignore it. I will never get any calls back to discuss simple improvements in their ridiculous AI system. The stonewall is in place! The AI system just gets rid of people and that is exactly what Alight wants or they would make giving feedback easy! If they get rid of you, Alight’s work load shrinks!
Alight’s MO on all questions and problems is to never allow you to call them back to pick up where you left off. This policy is a perfect example of Alight not caring at all about your questions or problems. If they call you back at all, they use completely different call-back numbers and your phone will immediately reject them to SPAM. When I ask what number they will call back on, they say they cannot give me a number. You will just give up—Alight wins!
One time I got a lady in India on a medical question that she could not answer, so she just started making stuff up. In frustration I finally broke the problem down into simple “yes” or “No” questions. After a 2 hr conversation I found out that she was forbidden to say the words YES or NO. What!???? I requested to speak to a supervisor and she said there were no supervisors available!! Finally she said a supervisor would call me back, but it never happened! I had to completely start over again the next day!
Alight’s entire customer service system is a disaster!! Fire these idiots!
Sadly, I have lost all respect for E/M because they use Alight. After all this time and so many complete blunders, E/M has to know what a disaster Alight is, but they continue to use them. For more examples and suggestions for improvement call me, -- Bruce Hamaker,
Thank you.
