To cancel your reservation with American Express Travel in the US, you can do it online or by phone:

Online:

1. Go to the American Express Travel website.
2. Log in.
3. Find your reservation details.
4. Look for the cancellation option and follow the instructions.

Phone:

1. Call American Express Travel at (800) 297-3276.
2. Provide your reservation details.
3. They will help you cancel over the phone.

Note: American Express Travel doesn’t charge a cancellation fee, but there might be hotel penalties.

To get a refund from American Express Travel, follow these steps:

1. Cancel your flight: Start by canceling your flight. You can do this directly with the airline or through American Express Travel. Often, it’s possible to cancel online with just a few clicks.
2. Request reimbursement:
   • Online: If you’ve registered your enrolled card account online at American Express, log in and find the link to the “request an insurance premium refund” form. Here’s how:
     • Log in to your account.
     • Select “my account” and then “statements & activity.”
     • Choose the billing period when the premium was charged.
     • Find the transaction related to your refund.
     • Select “dispute/inquire about this charge” and follow the instructions to explain the reason for the refund request.
   • By mail: Look for the refund coupon on your billing statement. If you were charged an insurance premium during any billing period, the coupon (usually included in your statement) provides instructions on how to fill out the form and return it with your next payment.
