Greetings from Chattanooga, Tenn., our first stopover on our month-long road trip out to Oregon.

We spent yesterday packing, cleaning the house, and making this video (above) about how we pulled everything together. Aren narrates.

And today after we checked in at the Holiday Inn Express, Iden shared his road trip “rules.” We’re still laughing!

Where are America’s best bears?


Mention the Smoky Mountains, especially Gatlinburg, Tenn., and bears are probably the first thing that you’ll hear about.

Black bears, to be exact. The nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of the last remaining places in the eastern United States where they can be found in the wild.
