I was going to start this story with a list of today’s amazing prizes that we’re giving away to new underwriters, like your choice of a new Fodor’s guidebook. Or a Comuse Travel’s Time to Take a Map necklace.
But then, on day two of our fundraiser, a long-time reader asked me a question that demanded a public answer: Who do you support?
If you read this site, you know that I proudly publish the posts of several advocacy organizations. But something tells me that’s not what he wanted to know. Who do I give my money to?
OK, full disclosure. I support Travelers United, the organization I co-founded. I also give to Flyersrights.org and to International Cruise Victims. And I’ve made contributions to fellow consumer advocate Mitch Lipka’s medical fund, and encouraged my readers to help him, too. Lipka is fighting an incurable form of cancer.
These folks are on your side, and worthy of your financial support. And I would also mention that Flyersrights.org is holding its fundraiser this week, too.
So, before you participate in our fundraiser, please consider giving to these worthy causes.
Today’s premiums are incredible. We have your choice of any Fodor’s guidebook, given to five random new underwriters today.
We’re also adding these lovely Time to Take a Map travel-themed necklaces from Comus. Nothing shows you love to travel like one of these. It’s a Zinc Alloy chain with the continents on it.
Comuse Travels is an online shop and travel blog run by the husband and wife team of Neel and Dawn Bulchandani. Their vision is to inspire travel and they’re passionate about transforming the world. Every item for sale on their site has a poem written specifically for it. Awesome.
We have three of these Time to Take a Map necklackes right now for three random supporters.
How do you qualify? Just jump in and become a supporter today at any level.
I’ll announce the winners on my Twitter account.
Thank you for your support.
