I’ve been locked in my lab for the last few days, working on something I hope will help a lot of people.
Why create a knowledgebase?
Our advocacy team is inundated with questions every day. Often, they answer the same question several times a day. So we figured, why not compile all the questions and publish them in an easy-to-read format?
This is a work in progress. Here’s how you can help:
Which car rental questions are we missing? I started with the most common ones, but there are more, and we’ll add them as we go along. Are there any you don’t see? Please let me know.
Did we get anything wrong? If you see any incomplete or wrong answer, please tell me. I’ll make sure it gets fixed. I’ve disabled commenting on the answers because this is more of a lecture than a debate. But the comments are open on this post*.
What should we do next? We’re going to add industries at a clip of one a week and I’ll be introducing them on Friday. What would you like us to work on next?
Some of you eagle-eyed readers are wondering about that little asterisk next to the comments. I’ll explain.
We’re migrating our comments back to Disqus. The ability to comment will no longer be offered on every post, either. On some stories, like this one, we’ll definitely welcome your comments. But not on all of our stories.
On the posts where commenting is enabled, every comment will be reviewed by a moderator and if it doesn’t meet our criteria, you’ll hear from someone.
We love our readers and want to make this site a positive and helpful experience. I hope these changes will do that.
Have a great weekend!
