I’m giving away $500 in HotelPower credit – here’s how to qualify

Can you feel the excitement building? Every day during our October fundraiser, I’ve been giving away luggage, books and other amazing travel premiums. But now it’s time for the Big One.

I have in my hands a $500 certificate for a hotel stay, courtesy of a new site called HotelPower.

The site, launched just last week, offers deeply discounted room rates, often more than 25 percent and up to 70 percent off of prices you find on the Internet. Many thanks to my friend Pamela Johnston, who handles media relations for the startup company, for arranging this premium.

Elliott Advocacy is underwritten by MedjetAssist. Medjet is the premier global air-medical transport, travel security and crisis response membership program for travelers. With a MedjetAssist membership, if you become hospitalized more than 150 miles from home, we will get you from that unfamiliar hospital all the way home to the hospital you trust. All you ever pay is your membership fee. MedjetHorizon members add 24/7 personal security and crisis response benefits. Elliott.org readers enjoy discounted rates. Travel safer with  MedjetAssist.

How to you qualify? It’s easy.

Sign up as supporter of my site at any level. Here’s how to become an underwriter.

Like my Facebook page. I’ll be drawing from a random list of Facebook fans.

This is one of those “no purchase required” giveaways. So, if you want to have your name in the hat, just send me your name and mailing address.

Of course, by becoming an underwriter, liking my page, and sending me your address, you get your name in the hat three times.

I’m announcing the winner tomorrow evening, so hurry.

Remember, we’re raising $10,000 for this site. All the money will go directly into the consumer advocacy you see here. So far, we’ve raised $6,695 — more than halfway to our goal!

I’ll also be giving away more books and Knee Defenders, so your chances of winning are good.
