This is the West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping center in North America and Alberta’s number-one tourist attraction. It’s unbelievably enormous. That’s Aren standing near the rail. Note the life-size replica of the Santa Maria just below him.

Some rooms at the Fantasyland Hotel have themes. Our bed looked like an igloo and had native American art and sculptures. When Aren said he had a “cool” room, he wasn’t kidding.

Star Wars Identities is an exhibit at the Telus World of Science in Edmonton. It allows you to discover aspects of your own identity through the prism of Star Wars characters. Also, it has a great collection of original props from the movies, like C3PO.

Who says photobombing only happens to celebrities?

Tomorrow we’re off to the Canadian Rockies. I wish we had more time to spend here. Maybe we’ll come back during the summer to see outdoor Edmonton.
