Their offer was that I could purchase a new ticket and get credit for the old one towards a flight on that airline going anywhere but my original destination. Not very useful, as Hawaiian Airlines dosn't go anywhere I usually do, except for it's flights to Hawaii. The agent claimed that was the airline's policy. So I called the airline directly, paid the change fee (about half the cost of the ticket) and that's the end of my dealings with Expedia. We'll have glaciers in Los Angeles before I book with Expedia again.
