I was completely ripped off on a flight from Fll to cancun, mex. I lost my passport on the way to the airport, and discovered it missing while in the check in line. A Spirit agent, Felix, assured me that when i found or replaced the passport, i would be put on a flite. But the same day, before the next flite, they unilaterally cancelled my reservation iin BOTH DIRECTIONS, with no possibility to reschedule, pay the change fee or get a refund. Customer service people were nasty and uncaring on the phone, and gave me no way to reach their Fll desk.

I had to go back to the airport wiith all my luggage, only to be told that Felix was new on the job and wrong, and that all the money i had paid would be confiscated due to some fineprint excuse. And they purposely footdragged and kept me waiting two hours, so that i almost missed an alternative, but well worth the slightly higher cost, flight later that same day. An agent appropriately named "Nelly" was the culprit here.

I have NEVER had an airline, even cheap ones, not bend a little in a case like that, ESPECIALLY AFTER HAVING PROMISED TO DO SO.

No wonder they have an "F" rating with the BBB.

If you are in some way trying to help them improve their image, fine, i will accept a full CASH (no vouchers) refund. But otherwise, i intend to make spreading the word about Spirit Airlines my hobby until they are brought to justice.
