It is very difficult to fly today and the crowded and uncomfortable seats are no way to relax after all the check in and security hassle. The biggest problem in BA is the attitude of attendants, they are so snobish and arrogant it often causes people to get frustrated I just remember thier job description and am thankful it is not mine. Long time waiting for BA to improve overpriced "economy" seats.

Spencer i have to agree with you to a large degree; believe it or not i can recall when flying was well almost enjoyable; meals with choices were served on a route from West Palm beach to Boston a relatively short flight smoking was allowed; now we firstly have to endure security which is a joke; flight attendants who often have to fly 4 flights in a single day maybe more; Europe is coming up with a plane which would seat people opposite each other almost like a train where each seat is individual; Rydnair the low cost carrier in Europe which has had many complaints is now selling electric ciggarrettes which seems to have some success; unless our airlines can think of ways to implement some moderate way to ease customer irritation best advice shut up and bear it. thats all we can do without going to jail

“Air rage doesn’t begin with rage - it starts with irritation” and this irritation starts with the airline's web site, buying a ticket with taxes, fees and surcharges that double the cost, paying extra for your bags to check in at curbside, dealing with capricious and arbitrary rules at security, delayed or canceled flights, over-priced food at the airport, surly gate and/or flight attendants and unruly passengers. I'm amazed that anyone can fly today and keep a good attitude.
