We booked with passports an educational travel company for our son. Two months prior to the trip they increase their prices. We are stuck to decide to lose $884 or pay the extra fees. I cancelled 37 days prior to the departure and lost $1134. We signed a contract. But I feel as though they used unethical practices. My friend is studying law and says we could maybe sue for Treble damages because a court might deem their contract as unconscionable. Since they increased their prices and did not bother to tell us until we were $800 into the penalty stage. What do you think?
Thanks for you input in advance, Kim Roney
