This is the first photo Aren took for our blog. It was actually two exposures (adding the third would have made the subjects too blurry). And we used a tripod. Daddy doesn’t want to start up Photoshop, so everyone has to hold really still. Way to go, Aren!
Iden
Despite having the sniffles, Iden enjoys a ride on the carousel at Universal Studios. Show me the Cat in the Hat, baby!
Aren and Iden pretend to be astronauts at KSC’s rocket garden. They were here for the World Space Expo.
Aren and Iden hang out with the Great Pumpkin at SeaWorld. They finished a record second trick-or-treat circuit today. Nice job, gents!
Iden, Erysse and Aren practice for their family Christmas photo on the sand dunes at Amelia Island, Fla.
Iden gets behind the wheel of an antique red tractor at the petting zoo in Kissimmee, Fla.
Aren and Iden go shelling on Marco Island, Fla. It was a perfect late summer day. They had the beach all to themselves.
Iden takes a break from chasing the cats (this time he’s winning) to go down the slide. It turned kinda cool, finally, which allowed the kids to stay outside without having a heat stroke.
Iden played “catch” with the cats today. They won. It wasn’t really fair –they ganged up on him.
Iden wants to be cast in a sci-fi movie. Or perhaps the sequel to “A Clockwork Orange.” Then again, maybe these glasses just make him look cool. Either way, we couldn’t get him to take them off today.
Iden tries to touch a dolphin at SeaWorld in Orlando. Note his reflection in the glass. I also liked the shades of blue in this shot. I had to push the ISO to 1600 to deal with the low light in the aquarium.
Iden gets a ride from Mom at the pool. It was a hot day. Too hot to be outside for too long.
Aren and Iden visited the Senator, a 3,500-year-old Cypress tree, this afternoon. It was SO big! In this shot, they admire Lady Liberty, the Senator’s 2,000-year-old sibling.
The boys are waiting for the rain to stop so they can go outside and play. It’s going to be a long afternoon.
Iden hangs out at the lake in Clermont, Fla. We visited our favorite bakery in Yalaha today and stopped by this quiet park before heading on to Orlando for lunch. Aren didn’t make it out this far because he didn’t want to get sand in his shoes.
