Aren takes a break from visiting Disneyworld. Temperatures were dangerously hot today, leaving him and his siblings in a heat-induced daze. And his parents, too.
Aren and Iden visited the Senator, a 3,500-year-old Cypress tree, this afternoon. It was SO big! In this shot, they admire Lady Liberty, the Senator’s 2,000-year-old sibling.
We had a five-hour layover in Utah on our way to Sun Valley today. Good thing there was a playground at the airport, where I could unwind after a long day in the air.
The boys are waiting for the rain to stop so they can go outside and play. It’s going to be a long afternoon.
Aren and Castor share a quiet moment after chasing each other around the house. This is the first time I really noticed that they both have the same eye color. Pollux, the other cat, has green eyes.

It’s Aren’s first day of kindergarten. He’s all grown up now. Well, almost. Dad had to fly to Phoenix for a meeting, but he took this snapshot on the way to the airport. He’s going to miss everyone.
The boys couldn’t contain their excitement at flying on a plane (except in this picture, in which they take a quick break from running around the terminal). Even though there was talk of weather delays, their flight to Orlando took off on time and they were able to watch the Shuttle launch from the airport [...]
