It's absolutely mind boggling what TSA confiscates irregardless of personal worth. NO common sense or reasoning and regulations dictate. Where does it end up?? It really seems that the policy needs to be lifted, it does no good if even one airport allows liquids. The screeners did, however quickly catch a Leatherman my husband forgot to check. They were very kind, did not confiscate it and helped him to go back and quickly check it.
