I recently read your article about the bloggers fighting back and being noticed by the travel business. It seems that this growing awareness of a bloggers potential to help (or hurt) a tourist destination is not escaping some Countries. Recently I was invited, along with 5 other bloggers, on a "press tour" of sorts by the Head of Tourism for Istria, Croatia, Denis Ivošević. Designed just for us bloggers, the tour was an attempt to tap into a new audience, blog readers, and boost tourism. I would expect to see more of these types of "tours" as awareness of the potential bloggers have grows.
