The Travel Troubleshooter: free ebooks

The Travel Troubleshooter is a new ebook series that will help you become a better traveler.

Each book answers common questions about a topic, offers real examples of cases solved, and reveals the names and emails of executive contacts at companies.

Please download them, add your comments and edits, and send them back to me.

The Troubleshooter series is completely free. At this stage, I welcome all feedback, style and grammar revisions, rants and raves.

This summer it will be available for purchase on your favorite ereader. But if you act now, you’ll get it free:

• If you download one of the ebooks and help edit it, or contribute significantly to the creation of the series, I’ll send you a free copy of the first version of the ebook. I’ll also credit you.

• If you buy a copy of my print book Scammed: How to Save Your Money and Find Better Service in a World of Schemes, Swindles and Shady Deals, you’ll get a free copy of the first version of the ebook.

• As a bonus, if you buy Scammed, I’ll give you access to Troubleshooter book updates for a whole year.

Major funding and support for The Travel Troubleshooter comes from the American Car Rental Association, the US Travel Insurance Association, as well as Access America and TripInsurance.com. If you would like to support this project, please contact me.

It must be the announcement we are all waiting for in the Philly Travel Show. Chris was so excited he forgot to tell us?

Chris, if you buy the hard copy is this offer also available, or do you have to buy the Kindle version of your new book?

Yes, and I’m REALLY excited about it. I mentioned this from the stage when I spoke there, as promised.

I’m working on it. I hope to have it available as a hard copy.

I don’t mind the newest book as a Kindle version, but was specifically wondering if I buy the hard copy of “Scammed” will I be able to get the Kindle version of your newest when it comes out?

there is something about holding the actual paper in your hand, and it’s a bit hard sometimes to read books on a 4″ cell phone screen.

Yes, you will get the Kindle version when it’s available.
