If the airline business is just so tough for American carriers that they can't provide basic services involving human dignity, let someone else fly domestic flights who can. Get rid of the laws that protect domestic carriers and let Singapore Airlines and others fly domestic flights in the true spirit of competition.

Here lies Fast Draw Sam

Well, Ryanair IS going to charge for toilets -

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2009/jun/02/ryanair-airline-oleary-toilet-charge

and - read to the bottom where they say they are going to have passengers put their own luggage on board -

I guess the next step in the process is arranging for your own pilots and flight attendants from a pool waiting - depends who level of competence and quality you want - you can save lots of money by hiring a good simulator pilot to fly your 737. Or, you can hire the 10,000 grizzled veteran for just a little bit more. Passengers choice.
