Funny thing - I wanted to read the article too but running a video and the sound wasn't appropriate right now. Maybe give us an option? Video can be great at times, but reading works at other times as well.

I enjoyed the video - it's a nice change. The last hotel I stayed in didn't have hot water for an hour, and it comped the WiFi for my entire 10-day stay.

I respectfully disagree with the above readers. I like this format a lot. Hearing your cheerful voice and seeing the words at the same time made a stickier impression on my brain than just reading the words myself: Comp, Guaranteed Reservation, Walk. See, I remembered them all! I like the music too.

I most definitely would like to read your comments rather than have them appear as a video.

I'm with Bill on this. If you're going to make a video, great. Please do. But if you're doing an article, please put it out in print format. It's a lot easier to just read the article, especially when you're in a place where noise needs to be kept to a minimum or if you're on a slow connection where regular text is just easier.

I'm a speed reader with little time, so I too skip right over audio files (CNN is no longer my first choice for news because more and more stuff goes to an audio clip). Feel free to post audio, but add a link for a transcript to keep me coming to your site.

I realize it is innovative to have you tube audio and the words flash around on the screen, but that means the content is only appropriate to be read in certain places.

I can read most web pages while I am doing other things, but if I have to stop and listen, it takes more time and there is less liklihood of me reading the content.

To clarify, if there are a lot of articles presented in this format, I'm less likely (far less likely) to "read them", because it isn't as convenient.

This note is easy to read, but had I spoken it and uploaded the audio file, it is more cumbersome.
