Important points regarding Sun Country’s cancellation policy:

  • Passengers with refundable tickets can request a free cancellation at least 60 days before the scheduled departure.
  • Sun Country Airlines permits passengers to cancel reservations within 24 hours of booking for a full refund, provided the booking was made at least 7 days before the flight departure date. This rule applies to all carriers/flights.
  • Nonrefundable tickets cannot be canceled more than 24 hours after purchase.
  • If a flight is delayed for more than 6 hours, passengers can request a full refund for the unused portion of their trip.
  • In the event of flight cancellation by the airline, passengers can opt for a free flight change or request a free cancellation.
  • The cancellation policy applies to all fare types and travel routes.
  • Depending on the timing of cancellation and fare type, cancellation fees may apply, or the value of the ticket may be forfeited.
