What we did this weekend: Exploring St. Petersburg’s Sunken Gardens

August 9, 2009

In a desperate bid for a break from Florida’s unrelenting summer sun, the Elliott kids explore the 100-year-old Sunken Gardens of St. Petersburg. Next time they’ll save time for the neighboring attraction, Great Explorations.

We stayed at the Sandpearl Resort in nearby Clearwater Beach, which offered another respite from the steamy weather. The kids loved the pool.

Aren tried his hand at the beanbag game.

Beautiful Gardens and beautiful children. Nice to see how they are growing. Helen
