I agree that I&#039;m seeing more hotel bargains, but when it comes to air fare and rental cares I don&#039;t think there are that many deals to be had right now.</description>

		<description>Thoroughly agreed. There&#039;s a lot of travel industry fat that has not yet been trimmed (particularly in relation to hotel room rates). 2010 will see more of it being trimmed. But as a lot of poorer quality operators go under, capacity will be cut and prices will steadily start to stabilise then rise again.

I find a good rule of thumb is looking at how much commission affiliate advertisers pay - if it&#039;s 2% for a flight or 8% for a hotel room, then that amount can realistically come off the price of the flight or hotel room for the consumer.</description>
