Every time I have to schedule a flight, I remember how much fun flying USED to be. I’m rarely relaxed until I get checked into my hotel room once I’ve finally reached my destination. Root canals are more appealing to me than flying anywhere.

So glad I caught this post after listening to the MSM all day. I heard quite a bit about this latest survey from the ACSI. Numbers lie all the time, and even good data isn’t an absolute, but touting a C-grade for hotels as good news…yikes! I’m planning a trip in July (air and a hotel stay in Vegas – god help me!) and finding myself dreading it! I’ll look for more hopeful news soon…crossing my fingers. Got any tips for Vegas? I just flew for the first time in ten years. American Airlines singles me out for extra security so I was publicly humiliated and groped by strangers. Why? Not flying makes me suspect? Is it because I subscribe to liberal publications? What a reintroduction for air travel! No wonder I take trains.

I’d rather go to the dentist than fly commercial. Its amazing how bad its gotten. The hotels are taking every dime they can for stuff that used to be free. Its nasty.
