I pray to God that we will not have to live through another day like 9/11/01. As for the 10 things… a lot of that is right on… I’m sad to say.
I will spend my 30th B-Day (9/10/11) at Walt Disney World trying not to think about what may occur the next day. I’m so saddened by the state the US is in. I pray for peace for all the lives that are still being affected by 9/11/01 and I pray for a better tomorrow for my two children.

Here’s another prediction: our Security Overlords will be crawling all over us (yes, I know they already are), in more places, more often, more “randomly,” and still without probable cause. They’ll hype up the paranoia. They’ll roll out some more fear-mongering and maybe even a false flag operation for good measure. And most people will fall right into line. You think our rights are shredded now? Just wait.

Looks pretty good. Items 1, 5, 6, and 9 seem to have come to pass and item 2 is becoming quite possible given what’s going on in Libya, Egypt, et al.

as of 12/2/10 you are correct about #5. and so far as #9, DisneyWorld tickets go, today they are $87.33 for ages 10 and older.

do the math- written 2006-09-11-2001 will indeed be 5yrs since the attack- by 9-12-2011 it will have been 10 yrs. 2 people seem to think 9/11 occurred in the year 2000- NOT in the YEAR 2001-

Perhaps I should clarify. This story was written in September 2006 and linked to in the latest issue of Elliott’s E-Mail. In it, I clearly disclosed that this was “from the archives.” I’m sorry if anyone thought I wrote this recently.

I had a math degree at one point, but alas those neurons are long gone, I do believe this would be the 6th anniversary however :)

I agree with most of your predictions, I look forward to reviewing them in 2011…

I do hope you are wrong about Disney, I do so look foward to the currently cheap prices each year with my now 7 year old :)

I have long been upset that it is well beyond the year 2001 and my car STILL does not fly! A friend of mine feels that soon there will be a revolution in science and we will have personal transport crafts that allow us to bypass the commercial transportation industry altogether. If I want to travel from Seattle to Orlando I can get there in a few hours myself! UGH I sure hope not! You think the lines at Space Mountain are long now?! Just wait until people can just drop by popular vacation spots on a whim! I for one hope that travel remains the somewhat inaccessable deal that it currently is and that travel does not become quite so cheap and easy.

I was watching an episode of Star Trek TNG where one of them stated that she and her buddy were off to Angel Falls. If one can get to Venuzuela from orbit that fast I would assume that the area would be packed cheek-to-cheek with EVERYONE! That’s the problem with making travel that fast and easy. Everyone will go EVERYWHERE all the time!
