I recently used Thrifty for travel to Denver and Tulsa to visit family. I was a bit leary of using them but I was on a budget and need to go cheap. When I got to the counter at both Denver and in Tulsa, I was greeted with a smile and excellent service and a wait time of no more then a few minutes. Thrifty seems to be improving at these 2 airports!

Oh I don't know ... that post seems awfully cynical to me. While there are some instances where I wouldn't use the company again, I think they're rare. Most times I can understand that any mistakes are down to individual staff, not being able to deal with the right person at the right time. Under these circumstances, I'm happy the firm has tried to make ammends and I'm keen to see whether my experience is better next time.

Not all tour operators are like that. I recently had clients booked thru travel impressions forahotel in Paris. One day prior to client's leaving I found out the hotel was overbooked and they were walking my clients to another hotel.Travel Impressions stood by their great service and took responsibility for the problem. Clients were reimbursed for the hotel stay.
