New for ’07: Tripso

Tripso, the travel news and commentary site that I helped start, has a new look for 2007. You can see the completely redesigned Web site here. If you haven’t visited in a while, it’s definitely worth a click.

But the changes are not just cosmetic. In the last few months, we’ve added a new hotel columnist, Amy Bradley-Hole and, of course, our cruise columnist, Anita Dunham-Potter.

So Tripso is officially no longer a boys club. (But if you’re a chick, a hyphenated name is required.)

Two other noteworthy changes are worth pointing out. First, the sleek, Zen-like design that our Web designer, Chris Jernigan of HeftyMedia came up with. It is easily one of the most intuitive sites I’ve ever had the pleasure of navigating through.

And second, our new forums which were produced under John Frenaye’s capable leadership. The boards now are built on the popular and fun vBulletin software, which is widely used by other travel sites.

Please visit Tripso and see it for yourself. While you’re there, sign up for Tripso’s free newsletters and join the forums. You’ll have a better trip because of it.
