Hurricane Alberto

June 12, 2006

Uh-oh. Troical Depression One has morphed into Tropical Storm Alberto, and now, Hurricane Alberto. And we’re in his path. Not good!

The outer bands of the storm are already blowing through here. A few minutes ago, we had strong wind gusts and near-horizontal rain. Now it’s just drizzling.

When you’re about to get slammed by a hurricane, you tend to start asking yourself the Big Questions.

Tell me why I had to move to Florida, again? Why Central Florida?

Do we have enough beer?

Did I choose the right religion?

This storm is no exception.

The answers: Nice weather. Close to everything. Yes. And probably, no.
