I think he was referring to those Tea Parties, which were a Farse. As for the media Hammering Bush, I do recall he was the president who:

Failed to Lead after 9/11…..Agencies he oversaw ignored intelligence…

Invaded the WRONG COUNTRY. Provided about 10 reasons to do so.

Cost this country 7 TRILLION DOLLARS in DEBT, in which we OWE OUR ENEMIES.. China + Russia who we yell at with one cheek, and borrow from with the other. Of course, China being ANYTHING but steadfast with their human rights and arms.

Left us in a War that has lasted 8 years and no win in sight.

Passed ANTI PATRIOTIC LAWS.. NSA wiretapping, Patriot Act, etc and MASSIVELY EXPANDED the government role in our lives.

Bailed OUT companies who deserved Nothing. Et Al. The same for Obama.

So is Obama any better? I’m not thrilled. Would McCain / Palin have helped us? Not a chance in hell. I’d of preferred Hilary if anyone. Obama is kind of a waste of empty promises, as are ALL POLITICIANS. Maybe his health care will pass, so his administration wont be a COMPLETE FARSE. Until then, he’s busy defending Bush and going down the same slippery slope.

I agree on some points and disagree on others. I think the Media is giving him a chance, AS THEY DID WITH BUSH initially. However, they are more and more pointing out both sides. Such as Health Care stalling, etc etc.

Congrats. However, I would use this as an opportunity to join hands with your colleague and get the national press circuit to lay the foundation to Pressure Congress. Passing SHIELD is long over due. Journalists NEED protection. A country is not free if the media is suppressed.

To Scott’s point:
During the prior administration, the mainstream news media gleefully reported half-truth, innuendo, opinion, and speculation as factual evidence of administrative malfeasance. The media even published information that was helpful to our enemies.

During the current administration, the mainstream news media has quietly ignored campaign promises and soft pedaled anything that might hint at criticism of the administration.

Contrast these behaviors to what we receive here – just the facts, for all to use as they see fit without a spin of alleged interpretation. It is a refreshing opportunity to read travel-related news and information as it factually exists.

PS: It is my understanding that “teabagging” is a reference to some kind of deviant homosexual behavior. I would cheer when any obama supporter can have a discussion of fact without having to resort to name-calling. It suggests that the name-caller has little to say.

Happy New year. I am going back and working on a Masters in Information Security. Seems to be one of the few growing fields that actually requires people in this wonderful economy. Switching Careers and figured that one sounded pretty good. I wish Kari the best of luck it it.

Hope you stick it to Obama and his cronies. They promised am “open government” but it has been anything but ! These liars will do ANYTHING to cover up their ongoing freight train of faux pas’ , half truths and outright lies.
