How do you read so many tweets? There must be some secret here that I don’t know!

Kim@Galavanting December 16, 2008 at 8:50 am

Thanks for including me Elliott, and for the great list. There are several on here I didn’t know about…

Brian Hendricks December 16, 2008 at 8:56 am

We were a little late to the party; we just started Twittering this month. http://www.twitter.com/Quikbook
But we hope to make the 2009 list!

Barbara Sanborn December 16, 2008 at 8:58 am

Another great Disney Travel related twitterer is wdwfan. I follow them and are always learning about new discounts, getting around the parks, and fun trivia. http://twitter.com/wdwfan

Thrilled to see my fellow Traveling Mamas on the list: Cajun_Mama, DesertMama, MudslideMama. I’m @karasw (MountainMama).

Thanks!

Stacy

Melody Moser December 16, 2008 at 9:52 am

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the list, there are some new ones here I didn’t know about. I’d like to be considered for future lists — I’m @MelodyMoser, a travel writer based in New Jersey. I blog, tweet and write about travel around the world. http://twitter.com/melodymoser Many Thanks!

Rob December 16, 2008 at 10:33 am

Would love to see @resideo on the list – http://twitter.com/resideo/

They’re a “small” OTA that has embraced the space quite effectively, in my opinion. Tweets during the day include hotel news & info (press releases, renovation notices, etc.) as well as special deals & discounts.

They also do a good job of interacting with the community — keeping an eye out for folks asking for help finding hotels.

Definitely kudos to the travelinmamas for inclusion. Would also recommend @hotelexperience

jessiev December 16, 2008 at 10:49 am

GREAT list – thanks, Chris! we’d love to be considered next year (wanderingeducators.com)…

Globetrotting Bride December 16, 2008 at 11:10 am

Nathan Kam December 16, 2008 at 2:01 pm

Chris, I’m humbled that you included me on this great list of travel tweeters. Have always enjoyed following your work and hope to find you in Hawaii again one day soon. Until then, happy holidays.

kathy dragon December 16, 2008 at 2:18 pm

finding it hard to find a good twitter network of tour operators/tourism processionals/travel site talking about social media.

KathyDragon/traveldragon

Also interested in being considered for your next list :-)

http://twitter.com/Nancydbrown

Lifecruiser December 17, 2008 at 4:45 am

Oh, I feel very honored, thanks x millions for including me in the list among so many great travel Twitters! You just made my day :-)

I’d have included some other travelers, but I see that other commenters have already done that.

I agree about your advice about microblogging, I’ve found many interesting Twitterers and blogs that way.

Plus it’s the best way to get a grip of what’s up right now.

Now I must ensure that I follow everyone in that list, I recognize most of them, but not all of them….

Happy travels everyone :-)

Chris Noble December 17, 2008 at 7:40 pm

Rumour has it that I was at 49, but my tweet calling twitter ‘ Social crack without the scabs, smell & stealing to support the habit’ tipped me out. Actually that’s a lie, I’m just kicking stones on the ground like a 4 year old because I’ve been left off…
