My husband and I stayed at a Hyatt Place in Aluquerque, New Mexico. We'll be staying there again, too. Every employee we dealt with was professional and helpul. The breakfast was one of the better ones we've had at a hotel and there was all sorts of stuff available to add to breakfast, as well as to have for other quick meals. And our room-- spacious, clean and VERY comfortable. It was nice a small fridge available, too. I even have to say something about the soap, shampoo, etc...-- we loved them! Great option for those of us who are looking for a good place to stay without spending a fortune. Oh-- and no problems with internet access either!

I stay at a Hyatt Place each time I travel to Charlotte, NC for sales meetings. It's definitely of my new favorite hotel brands. I like how the rooms feel a little more "homey" than most, with the separate sitting area. That sitting area also gives me a great space to upack and stage my presentaion samples and materials for the next day's meetings. I don't think I'd stay there on a family trip, though, because they seem to cater to the business traveler a bit more. My only complaint is that the toilet/shower room could be a little larger.

My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Place in Boise, Idaho recently. What a pleasure, from the friendly greeting to the departing good-bye. Lovely atmosphere, classy decor and fragrant and luxurious shampoos/lotions. We felt absolutely pampered. In addition as we were enjoying our breakfast it came to our attention that the Hyatt Place was host to a number of Special Olympic athletes, there for the World Games. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and accomodating to the athletes, as well. BRAVO!

To glenn: The free computers aren't logging your keystrokes. Also they have a setting that reimages the computer after 15 minutes of inactivity. Hyatt set their business center up this way because they were tired of the crap that guests were putting on the hard drives. Also if you are concerned about someone using the computer right after you did, there is an option on the main screen to reimage the computer without having to wait the 15 minutes.

To William: Hyatt is changing the rules for the Goldpassport so that Platinum members can use their point redemptions within 72 hours of their arrival day and that Diamond members can use their point redemptions within 48 hours of their arrival day.

I also recently stayed at Hyatt Place in San Antonio. I tried checking in with the machine, but when I was almost done, it told me I had to see the front desk.

Housekeeping forgot to clean our room. I advised the front desk on our way out the door for dinner. They said housekeeping had already left for the day, but they would straighten up our room and bring some foam pillows. When we returned, our pile of towels was still on the floor, they did not empty the trash, they did not bring soap or shampoo, and they had taken my personal chiropractic pillow for my neck injury and replaced it with a foam one. It took me three trips to the front desk to get everything cleared up, and I was not even offered an apology.

I checked out the last day and was not given a receipt, and was suprised to see extra fees and taxes later billed to my credit card.

We loved the healthy breakfast and the corner sofa in the room, but I would think twice about staying at that location again!

The Hyatt Place near the Nashville Airport is a great place to stay. Hubby and I have stayed there when we have a few extra bucks. We were very impressed with everything--especially the TV!

Only problem with those free PCs, is the key-logging trojans loaded by a previous guest. Just make sure you don't access any site(s) where you have to use a password that protects any of your personal information.

I hit the Hyatt Place's 2 years ago when three of them appeared in Atlanta. VERY nice atmosphere in all. Made my status with Hyatt, then discovered that you need 7 DAYS advance planning to use your points! I can barely plan for Tomorrow!!!
