Week 35

January 21, 2003

Aren plays his keyboardPlay that funky music. Now that I can stand (but not walk yet) I've moved on to making music on my baby keyboard. It tends to get a little bit repetitive, but hey, it's a living. Sure beats lying on the floor all day!

Aren gets carried awayIn the garden. Daddy had to move more mulch today. I tried to help him, but I really just wanted to be picked up. Fortunately, my crying-baby routine worked pretty well, and I got lots of hold time.

Aren hits a barrierCan I get a hand, here? I found this new barrier while I was exploring today, and no one seems to want me on the other side of it. Something about my Aunt getting into the poison when she was my age. So no more hanging out in the kitchen for me. Until I can jump over this thing.

Aren hangs out on the porchHey, this is fun. Getting around the house is so much easier, now that I can cruise on all fours. I'm still having some trouble reaching objects that are on counters and tables. Give it some time. Then I imagine I'll be the only one smiling.
