Week 49

Wow, look at the bubbles. Amazing, isn't it, how little it takes to entertain an 11-month-old? These suds could keep me occupied for hours. I can't figure out why they keep popping on me, no matter how gently I grab them.

Another brick in the wall. They're putting up a rock wall in the front of our house so that when I start walking, I won't wander out on to the street. Well, it's not finished yet ... so there's still time.

Freedom. Nothing can stop me, not even a baby barricade or a mosquito screen. See? I ripped my way right through the front door. Now all the buggies can come in at night and keep us company. Mommy likes the big palmetto bugs especially. And Omi has a thing for the centipedes.
